Stampin’ Up!s new In Colors are just wonderful this year! Last year, I didn’t own all the In Colors (I started with Stampin’ Up! half-way through the year), but as soon as I saw these new colours I knew that I had to have them to see what I could do with them. Here’s a card that I made with the NEW Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss, as well as the ever-complimentary Chocolate Chip! I’ve stamped the little flower from Heartfelt Thanks in Baja Breeze ink onto Baja Breeze cardstock – see the lovely effect? Very Subtle.

For the background I stamped the flower in VersaMark for a very soft look. It’s quite hard to see it in the photograph, but it’s a pretty effect.

The next card uses Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze (again with Chocolate Chip).

I repeatedly stamped the flower image in Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red in random patterns all over a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then stamped the outline image from Heartfelt Thanks over the top of the bold flower image in chocolate Chip ink. This is a great way to produce a piece of cardstock with an all-over pattern that you can cut up and use for many cards. Very cost-effective and also great for making a couple of cards in one sitting – excellent if you’re pressed for time. I used the “~Wish big~” saying from the set called “Short & Sweet”… Simply change the saying and you’ve got a couple of cards for different occasions.
