Procrastination…You VEX me!
I’m just popping on quickly to share a card with you, and then I really MUST get on with work. Because I have the luxury of being able to work from home, I can spread out my workload over the course of the week, however, I’ve put it off already and REALLY should be doing it RIGHT now… but you know what it’s like…cards are calling me!!! … I’m such a procrastinator!!!
If I can just share ONE card, then I’ll happily go and do my work. *nods* I will, honestly!!
Ahhh, that’s better – I love my Vintage Vogue set and the matching Jumbo wheel; Very Vintage. I thought I’d age the card a little with some tearing and sponging… it just goes so well with this set.
Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Jumbo Wheel – Very Vintage.
Cardstock and Paper: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla, Bella Rose Designer Series Paper.
Inks: Riding Hood Red (stamped image on lower portion of card), Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa (sponging around the edges of Very Vanilla cardstock).
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, button from own stash, Stampin’ Sponges.
NOW I can go and get on with my work ….. although, I *DO* have an Anniversary card I really need to make…………………….

Flutterby…
I’ve used the Scribble Jumbo Wheel for my background design in Chocolate Chip ink. The colours of the butterflies are Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red and So Saffron. I’ve added the saying “Always on my mind – forever in my heart” from Stem Sayings. (Sorry that the watermark covered the saying – I didn’t plan that very well, did I???)
This is another of those designs/layouts that I just love for its versatility and ability to be replicated:
{Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette. Scatter Sunshine Jumbo Wheel, Butterfly Prints. Butterfly Punch. Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.}
{Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette. Butterfly Prints, Scribble Jumbo Wheel, Best Wishes and More. Butterfly Punch.}
{Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette. Butterfly Prints, Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel, Best Wishes and More. Butterfly Punch. Sponge Daubers.}
As you can see, I’ve used the same design to create different styles and cards for different occassions – I LOVE it!

Ickle Baby cards
Aww, there’s something so sweet about baby cards. Obviously the soft colours are so pretty, but I just LOVE seeing and making baby cards – I think it’s the anticipation of seeing the new little someone (and hopefully having a little cuddle!) and the joy that surrounds the new baby… so adorable!
Here is a baby card that I made recently for my samples and also two mini cards that could be used as Gift tags/cards for baby gifts. I’ve used the Nursery Necessities stamp set.
Cardstock is Soft Subtles (the Barely Banana colour has completely washed-out in this photo – sorry!) ; Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Barely Banana. I have coloured the rubber stamp with Markers prior to stamping with Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy and Real Red. I’ve used the VersaMark pad for the Jumbo wheel; Nursery Letters. Add some double stitched Grosgrain ribbon and you’re done!
I’m really enjoying the Soft Subtles colour range of cardstock, inks and papers – I never really thought that I cared much for the range, but they’re so delicate and beautiful for feminine cards as well as the regular baby styles.
