Gift Box with Tag
Here’s a cute little box I made from Baja Breeze Designer Series Paper (DSP) to hold a gift for my mum.
I decorated the box with a strip of a contrasting piece of DSP and a length of Baja Breeze striped ribbon. I used a generic tag and stamped it with the little birdie image from Cheep Talk. I inked up the flower stamp in Riding Hood Red and stamped it three times, cut each flower out and adhered them to the tag. Nice and simple.

Birthday gift box
This Gift box was even simpler to make than I expected – I’ve never really been one to make 3D items, always putting them in the “too hard” basket. However, I’m glad I persevered….
Oh this was so quick and easy – I almost don’t want to give it away!
I’ll certainly be making more gift boxes for birthdays and gifts!!!
This one simply needed two 12 x 12 pieces of cardstock which I scored at 6cm on all sides. Crease all score lines. I snipped inwards on two ends (top and bottom), folded, stuck and there you go! For the lid, I cut off two of the corners and the remaining edge became the side that attached to the bottom of the box. Trust me, it’s easier when you’re actually doing it. LOL! (I’m hopeless with directions.)

Gift for a friend…
I gave this cute matching card and gift box to my dear friend, Linda for doing my daughter’s hair for the school play on Thursday night. My daughter was to be a mermaid in the Peter Pan play and she had to have curly hair. Linda very kindly did it beautifully!! THANKYOU Linda! (Not that she’ll read this, LOL)
She is a most wonderful friend and she loves purple, so the Lovely Lilac cardstock was perfect for her.
