Tutorial – Reverse Kissing.

Welcome to my first Tutorial!

This technique is called Reverse Kissing and works best with large bold stamps. I have chosen the elephant from Wild About You to share this technique today.

Begin by inking up your selected stamp in a colour of your choice. I’ve chosen Pink Passion for my elephant as I just love the cuteness of pink elephants!

Then take a smaller stamp with a defined image – I’ve used the little flower from Priceless – and press the un-inked smaller stamp onto the inked large stamp. Clean off the small stamp either on scrap paper or on your Stampin’ Scrub and repeat the process making sure to stamp on other areas of the large stamp. The objective here is to remove some of the ink only in the areas where you are bringing the two stamps together. You do need to use a fairly firm pressure for this.

The final step is to “huff” on your large rubber stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamp onto your desired cardstock.

Now you have a pretty floral pink elephant – so cute! It reminds me of the children’s book Elmer!

I hope you enjoyed my first Tutorial, and I look forward to bringing you more in the future.

Happy Stamping!
