Pink Passion and Chocolate Chip – sounds naughty!!!

No, it’s not what you think! (What were you thinking?!?!?)

This is a card that I made quite some time ago and have used for my Make & Take card in demonstrations, but I just LOVE it!

Roll the Jumbo So Swirly wheel twice across your card in Chocolate Chip ink.  Stamp the saying from Happy Everything in Pink Passion on Whisper White cardstock, trim and adhere to Chocolate Chip cardstock. Adhere the saying on an angle on your card. Stamp the butterfly from Priceless in Pink Passion and trim. Cover in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and adhere to one corner of the saying with Dimensionals. Super quick and stunning!!! Perfect for a female birthday card or any feminine themed card. If you add a bit of doodle-ing to follow the dots of the So Swirly wheel, in a White Gel Pen, it adds more “WOW”.

Keeping with the butterfly theme, here’s a card I made a while ago for my friend Linda – can’t remember why I did it, but it must have been to thank her for something wonderful that she did. :o)

The colours are Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. I’ve Versamarked the large butterfly and tiny lady-birds on the Not Quite Navy cardstock for the background and I’ve added glitter to the ladybird’s fluttering trail. :o)

Enjoy!

Gift for a friend…

Posted in Cards tagged , , , at 4:10 pm by bejewelledcreations

I gave this cute matching card and gift box to my dear friend, Linda for doing my  daughter’s hair for the school play on Thursday night. My daughter was to be a mermaid in the Peter Pan play and she had to have curly hair. Linda very kindly did it beautifully!! THANKYOU Linda! (Not that she’ll read this, LOL)

She is a most wonderful friend and she loves purple, so the Lovely Lilac cardstock was perfect for her.

In Celebration of my Blog

I’ll find an excuse for a card anywhere I can! And so, In Celebration of creating my Blog, I’m posting this card that I made recently. Its inspiration comes from a layout and design by Makeesha (http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/index.php/category/stamp-set-samples/priceless/)

I have used one of my (many) favrourite Stampin’ Up!® Stamp sets, “Priceless”.

If you’d like to re-create this card, I have used Pumpkin Pie and Not Quite Navy cardstock from the Earth Elements range and Bashful Blue from Soft Subtles. I stamped the large scroll image with VersaMark on the Not Quite Navy cardstock and then tore the edges to create a soft look. Adhere this to the centre of the Pumpkin Pie card. Ink the small scroll from Priceless with Night of Navy ink (Rich Regals), and stamp it on a square of Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhere the Very Vanilla cardstock onto Bashful Blue and trim as necessary. I have distressed the edges of the Bashful Blue cardstock with my fingernails (very expensive tool!!) To finish the card off, I have stamped the heart image with Really Rust ink, cut around it and adhered it with the Snail adhesive to the card. Finally, stamp the Happiness stamp from Warm Words, and you’re done!

Enjoy!
